Actively conserving the environment.

Responsibility at ZIEGLER

Raw materials are a precious and important commodity. Despite innovations and further developments, it is important to us to be able to conserve the environment now and in the future.

For this reason ZIEGLER works continuously to reduce water and energy consumption as well as production waste at the company and production sites as far as possible, and to optimise our processes according to ecological and economic aspects. Especially with the use of wood from domestic forests, we can guarantee short transport routes and thus make an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.

For the sake of future generations.

Dealing with raw materials in a way which conserves resources is standard practice at the ZIEGLER GROUP. The principle is a simple one: for every tree which is felled at least one new seedling is planted and cared for. In this way we ensure a continuous supply of the raw material wood. Supported by cutting-edge machinery, our methods of operation ensure that timber resources are conserved for the future. This is confirmed by our PEFCTM certification.

An important aspect in logistics.

"Green" transport

In order to meet the constantly growing demands for sustainable logistics, we continuously invest in state-of-the-art equipment. In this way we can always guarantee "green" transport.

When choosing our partners, we also pay attention to the responsible treatment of nature and the available resources. It is important to us that the most modern equipment (EURO 6) is increasingly used in transport.

By adhering to our philosophy of full outward and return loads and by optimising transport planning, we aim to effectively reduce empty kilometres and thus make a further ecological contribution.
