Holzzentrum Ziegler GmbH in Pressath is the extended arm of our Plößberg sawmill. On 120,000 square meters, 6 planing lines ensure an almost perfect process for the production of goods for the construction sector. Dozens of trucks leave the premises every day. Especially shortly before the gardening season, there is a lot of activity here.

Within the machine portfolio, the double-end tenoner and the boiler press are particularly noteworthy. The former uses sophisticated technology to ensure that our multi-purpose boards can be processed precisely and quickly. The latter gives the wood lasting protection.

Over the next few years, we will be introducing further machine innovations and equipping the site for the future. Of course, the human factor is not neglected either. Of the more than 100 employees, two thirds work in production and are thus the backbone of the company. They are supported by a motivated office team.

Rauspund are wooden boards with tongue and groove on the sides. This makes them quick and easy to install. They show their strength best in interior finishing or in protected outdoor areas. They are available from us colorless or in the impregnations yellow, green and brown.
